Foxtail Studio builds economical small-business websites using the WordPress content management platform. Christy also provides editorial and site architecture services for websites that need to organize or re-structure a large volume of content.
Why WordPress? WordPress makes it easy to change text and images, add or delete pages, and comes with many easily-cusomizable, mobile-ready templates and plug-ins. It has a strong community with regular updates and a wealth of online tutorials, and is currently the most popular small-website CMS on the web.
After your site is built, we can provide the level of site management and support that best suits your business. We provide training for clients who wish to update their own website, and update services if you’d rather have someone else handle the work.
There are two main, ongoing costs associated with having a website:
- domain name registration – $15 to $20 per year
- website hosting – $130 to $180 per year
We’re happy to set you up with registration & hosting either independently (you are responsible for keeping annual payments up to date) or through Foxtail Studio (we send you one invoice annually to cover registration/hosting costs, and will contact you prior to taking the site down in the case of late or missing payments).
Please contact us to discuss your project and request a custom quote.

The new SAA website was designed by Casey Hrynkow of Herrainco Design in Vancouver, BC. However, a large edit and re-organizaiton of the site’s content was needed before Herrainco tackled the design update. In conjunction with the SAA’s Communications team and in-house staff, I helped provide the necessary editing and organizational updates for over 70 pages of content.
